1. What Doorfarer is
Doorfarer is a free trip search run by Vanessa Höfner, trading as Fräulein Höfner Pausalni Obrt,
Croatia (imprint). You use it through an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude that connects to
doorfarer.com/mcp. It shows flights together with the train or bus from your own town to each airport, and
links to partners where you can book.
2. We do not sell trips
Doorfarer only searches and links. We do not sell tickets, take payment or make bookings, and we are not a party to your booking. A booking is a contract between you and the airline or agency you book with, under their terms and their price at checkout. We are not a travel agency, and a Doorfarer answer is not a travel package or a promise that a trip is available.
3. Prices and times are estimates
Flight prices come from a cache that third parties provide and can be hours old. Train and bus legs are often estimates, and we say so when they are. Prices, times, baggage fees and availability can differ at booking, and the partner's figures are the ones that count. Check the details before you pay, and check entry and visa rules, and times that matter for connections, yourself.
4. Affiliate links
Booking links are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you book, at no extra cost to you. Commission does not change how results are ordered. Details are on how we are paid.
5. Using Doorfarer fairly
Use it for your own trip planning, or for people you plan with. Please do not:
- send automated bulk queries, or copy our results to build a competing data set;
- try to get around limits, or to overload, probe or break the service;
- put instructions meant to steer the assistant or our server into a search or a feedback report;
- send other people's personal data, or your own street address, in a search.
There are limits per caller and per day. If you reach one, the answer says so and when to try again. We may block callers who abuse the service.
6. Your AI assistant
Your assistant is a separate service with its own terms. It chooses what to send us and how to show our answer, and it may shorten or reword it. We are not responsible for how it presents or changes what we return.
7. Availability and changes
Doorfarer is free and run by one person, so it comes without a promise of uptime. We may change it, limit it or stop it at any time. We may update these terms when the service changes; the date is at the top, and using Doorfarer after a change means you accept the new version.
8. Liability
We provide Doorfarer as it is. We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and anything the law does not allow us to exclude. Otherwise we are liable only for foreseeable damage from a breach of a main obligation, and not for lost trips, missed flights or price differences that come from the information of third parties. Your rights as a consumer under mandatory law stay as they are.
9. Our content
The Doorfarer name, site and software are ours. The flight, airport and map data belong to their sources. You may
quote short parts of an answer for your own use, with a link to doorfarer.com.
10. Law and disputes
Croatian law applies, without taking away the mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live. If you are a consumer in the EU you may bring a claim in the courts of your own country. See the imprint for the dispute resolution statement.
11. Contact
